🧼 What Is Men's Waxing?
-
Process: Warm / hot wax is applied to the skin and hair, allowed to adhere to the hair, and then swiftly removed—pulling the hair out from the follicle.
💪🏼Why wont you wax my sack? 🦵🏼
-
It is highly recommended against waxing or plucking the scrotum (Ball Sack) because the skin is very delicate and thin, tearing easily. Shaving them is the better and safter option.
🧴 Pre - and Post - Wax Care
-
Let hair grow for at least 3–4 weeks, a minimum length of ¾ cm is required.
-
The day prior to your appointment, it is advisable to gently exfoliate the area to remove any dead skin.
-
After Treatment: Avoid hot showers, massage with perfumed oil, swimming, hot tubs, steam rooms & saunas, and highly perfumed products for 24–48 hours. Moisturize and exfoliate gently on a regular basis to help prevent ingrown hairs.
🚿 Hygiene & Comfort
I always prioritize hygiene, privacy, and comfort. I use disposable tools, wear disposable gloves, use good quality wax, and offer tailored treatments to make your experience as painless and enjoyable as possible. It does sting! however, if you follow the pre-waxing advice, this really makes a difference to your overall experience.
‼️Please Note
No responsibility is accepted by your therapist or The Therapy Cabin for any adverse effects of treatment.
Your therapist will need to know of any medications, supplements, allergies and sensitivities, as well as any relevant medical history, in order to ensure you receive the best treatment. Any changes or emissions to this information without you making your therapist aware before treatment, can affect how your skin reacts to any treatment.

Talking Therapy
Humanistic Counselling
£50 per session
Free Talking Therapy for Ex Forces Personnel (evidence required)
Rather than focusing on what is wrong with individuals, this approach emphasizes personal growth and the unique potential and abilities of each person. Here are some key points about humanistic therapy:
-
Client-Centered Approach: Humanistic therapy is client-led, meaning your therapist works with you on the issues you want to explore. It provides a safe, accepting, non-judgmental space for self-exploration, helping you discover what drives you and break unhelpful patterns of behavior.
-
Inherent Goodness: The humanistic approach operates on the belief that human nature is inherently good, and everyone has the potential to find their own answers to their problems.
-
Therapeutic Relationship: The relationship between you and your therapist is crucial. They offer empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, allowing you to become more self-aware and self-trusting.
-
Here and Now: Humanistic therapy focuses on the present moment (the “here and now”) rather than dwelling on past events. It encourages self-reflection and exploration of feelings.
